The Three Fatigues

First, Physical Fatigue:
Stress constantly engages the muscular skeletal nervous system. Not allowing it to release and soften the muscles.

Second, Emotional Fatigue:
Relationships with our self and others. Reactive and fearful habit patterns. Covering over the emotion with too much food, alcohol etc.

Third, Mental Fatigue:
The thoughts in the mind are often exaggerated and overwhelming. A lack of trust in LIFE. At times a attitude of I don't know and I don't care.

The key is to recognize and care (caring awareness) about what is happening in the body, heart and mind as soon as possible. (more at www.caringawareness.com)

"Relax"

How often has this been said?
A friend of ours would become more un-relaxed, whenever she is told to "relax". She has suffered with chronic anxiety and depression from the age of 18. For the last 30 years she has been hearing the same words from the medical community "relax". Her frustration was that the health care providers did not have the time/resources to teach her how to relax.

It was after she became interested in Stress Meditation, that she has found a effective way "to just relax".
